Mid-Continent Motorsports of Wichita, Kansas, has confirmed that two-time champions, Rick Moore and Tommy Grimes, have agreed to another year of competition. Rick Moore is the reigning 2006/2007 AHDRA Pro-Dragster Champion and Tommy Grimes is the reigning 2006/2007 NHRA Top-Fuel Screamin’ Eagle Nitro Harley Champion.
Moore obtained his 5.90s Top-Fuel license at last season’s race in Pomona, CA. This year he will be entering AHDRA’s Pro-Fuel class. Meanwhile, veteran Top-Fuel Harley rider, Tommy Grimes, has committed to racing his first full season with the Team.
“I’m really impressed by the talent these two young men are bringing to the table,“ states team owner, Mike Bahnmaier. “Mid-Continent Motorsports is going to be a serious contender in both Nitro Harley Classes.”
