Nothing will prevent him from winning!
Not a grenading PRP motor!
Not flying debris and pro-fuel Harley parts!
Not even hot, leather-penetrating, skin burning Red Line Oil!
Moore participated in this past weekend’s Ohio Bike Week Nationals at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Once again, he competed in the pro-gas and pro-fuel classes. He was second place qualifier for Banky Racing’s pro-gas Harley which was clocked at 7.846 and 162.39mph; he went on to finish runner-up to neighboring Dale Raudenbush. According to Bob Banky, “This was a significant race for us. We gained valuable points on the current leader, Jay Wagner.” Moore took Wagner out during the semi-finals. Banky Racing Team is owned/operated by Robert Banky of Maryland. Crew this weekend included, Ed Banky, Tommy Finn, and Jon Parrish. Moore and Banky would like to thank Wallace Landscaping, and Harley Davidson of Maryland.
But the real story of the weekend was Moore’s climactic pro-fuel race. First, after two 8-second passes, Moore made his personal-best qualifying pass on Mid-Continent Motorsports’ pro-fuel Harley. During third round qualifying, Moore had an E.T. of 6.765 at 206.54mph, making him second place qualifier for the event. Moore won his ¼ final run against Russell Sowers, and had a bye run during second round after Dana Meeks broke at the line. Moore advanced to the finals against Randall Andras. He cut an 0.55 light to Randall’s 0.85. However, things took a turn for the worse around the 330ft mark. Mid-Continent’s pro-fuel Harley spun the tire, blew the front head off the cylinder and the rear pipe into his leg. The chain popped off somewhere after the 1000 ft mark. Fortunately, Moore’s light went on, indicating victory against Andras. Moore sustained minor injuries to his right leg, but he is ready for Kansas City!
